Ohio State’s Anderson Selected GCAA All-America Scholar – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior Scott Anderson was selected to the 2004 Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars, by the Golf Coaches Association of America, Tuesday. The Mont. native, who recently was named captain of the 2004-05 men’s golf team, received the award for the second-consecutive season.
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, have competed in at least two full years at the collegiate level. He also must have participated in 70-percent of his teams competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in Division I and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
This past season, Anderson competed in 33 rounds and compiled a scoring average of 74.1, while finishing in the Top 15 five times.
