Men’s Golf Leads the Field After Two Rounds of Play – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team opened competition at the 2004 Marshall Invitational Friday and sit atop the leaderboard after two rounds with a total of 569. The event hosted by Marshall University, is being held at the par 71, 6,466-yard Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W. Va.
Three Buckeyes remain in the Top 10 at the conclusion of day one competition. Leading the way is freshman Colin Biles (Fr., Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) who is tied for second after posting a career-best 67 during round two to finish the day with a two round total of 140.
Seniors Kevin Hall (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Rita School for the Deaf) and Zach Doran (Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy) are tied for fourth and ninth respectively.
Burke Spensky of Marshall University leads all individuals with a two-round total of 139.
Final round play begins tomorrow at 8 a.m.
