Men’s Golf Finishes Third At The 35th Annual Kepler Intercollegiate – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team concluded play at the 35th annual Robert Kepler Intercollegiate and tied for third with a three-round total of 895. The Buckeyes third-place finish in the event was the squad’s sixth Top 5 finish this season. The event was held at the par 72, 7,141-yard Ohio State University Scarlet Golf Course.
Leading the way for Ohio State was senior Zach Doran (Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy), as he finished sixth. Doran chipped in from the fringe on the 18th hole to cap a final round of 73 and finish with a three-round total of 895.
Kent State’s Ryan Yip defeated Toledo’s Brad Heaven to claim medallist honors, while Xavier University captured the team title for the first time in program history to become the seventh team in tournament history to claim the event.
The Buckeyes return to action April 26-27 in East Lansing, Mich. to compete in the Bruce Fossum Invitational.
