Men’s Golf Fourth After One Round at St. Croix Collegiate Classic – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team opened play at the 2004 St. Croix Collegiate Classic Friday. The Buckeyes are four strokes off the lead and sit in fourth place after posting an opening round score of 293. The event is being held at the par 72, 6,809-yard Carambola Golf Club in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Kevin Hall (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Rita School for the Deaf) and Scott Anderson (Jr., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls H.S.) paced the Buckeyes as both fired first round scores of even par and are tied for tenth with two rounds to play.
Ben Tuthill of Rhode Island and Dax Murray of Oral Roberts are tied for the individual lead after one round as both fired rounds of 68, while Indiana sits atop the team leaderboard with an opening round of 290.
Second round competition begins tomorrow at 7 a.m.
