Women’s Volleyball Now Eighth In The USA TODAY/CSTV Top 25 Coaches Poll – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The USA Today/CSTV Top 25 Coaches Poll released this week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association has moved Ohio State to eighth, a move of one position up in the poll from last week. The Buckeyes entered the poll four weeks ago ranked 25th and then moved to 20th the next week. Two weeks ago Ohio State moved to 16th and then to ninth last week after defeating No. 1 Minnesota. The last time Ohio State was ranked eighth in the poll was during the fourth week of the 1996 season.
Ohio State (16-0 overall, 6-0 Big Ten) continues Big Ten play this week with home matches against Michigan State (6-8, 1-5) Friday, Oct. 15 and Michigan (14-3, 4-2), Saturday, Oct. 16.
