Ohio State Men’s Golf Finishes Third At The Big Ten Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team (96-75-2) concluded play at the 2003 Big Ten Championships as they finished third. The Buckeyes posted a final round score of 295 to finish with a four-round total of 1,153. The event was held at the par 71, 6,942-yard Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind.
Leading the way for Ohio State was Kevin Hall (Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Rita for the Deaf) who continued his solid play with a final round score of four-over-par 75, which tied him for ninth place. Hall finished the tournament with a four-round total of three-over-par, 287.
Junior Zach Doran (Columbus, Ohio/Columbus Academy) was named First Team All-Big Ten for his consistent play throughout the year. Doran tied for 11th with a four-round total of four-over-par, 288 at the Big Ten Championships.
Matt Anderson of Minnesota captured medallist honors with a four-round total of five-under-par, 208. Minnesota won the event for the second year in a row with a score of 14-under-par, 1,122.
