Men’s Golf Ties For 14th At The 2003 NCAA Central Regional – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team concluded competition Saturday at the 2003 NCAA Central Regional as they tied for 14th, posting a three-round total of 876. Despite posting their lowest round of the tournament the Buckeyes missed qualifying for the NCAA championships. The event was held at the par 72, 7,525-yard Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kan.
Leading the way for Ohio State was Zach Doran (Jr., Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy) as he posted a final round score of one-under-par, 71. Doran’s final round score gave him a three-round total of 215, tying him for 20th.
Scott Anderson (So., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls) finished second on the team with a three-round total of 218, tying him for 38th.
Brett Callas of Houston captured the individual crown with a three-round score of 207, while Oklahoma State led all teams with a score of eight-under-par, 856. The Top 10 teams at the NCAA central regional advance to the NCAA championships in Stillwater, Okla.
