Women’s Lacrosse Shannon Wilson Named the American Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – For her play at Duquesne and Penn State, Shannon Wilson (Sr., Sherkston, Ontario) has been named the American Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week. Wilson scored three goals in OSU’s 10-5 win at Duquesne and added two ground balls and four caused turnovers. Her three goals came on four shots including a free position score. Wilson recorded four goals in OSU’s 10-9 upset of No. 9 Penn State on the road and added two ground balls. She scored three consecutive goals in a span of 4:48 in the second half to take OSU from trailing 6-4 to a 7-6 lead. Her fourth goal broke an 8-all tie at 52:04.
