The first three games between Ohio State and Fairfield each were decided by just one goal, including the Stags’ double-overtime victory last season.
THE 2002 MEETING
Fairfield’s Tom Werney scored with 3:18 left in the second overtime to give the Stags an 8-7 victory over the No. 13 Ohio State men’s lacrosse team April 13, 2002 in Fairfield, Conn.
