Jenn Flynn Joins Team USA For World Championship – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Former Ohio State women’s volleyball student-athlete Jen Flynn (Pittsburgh, Pa.) has joined Team USA as the squad prepares for the World Champoinship in Dresden, Germany, Aug. 30-Sept. 15. The 5-9 Flynn played 128 consecutive matches for the Buckeyes, helping the team to four consecutive NCAA appearances. The versatile Flynn played outside hitter as a freshman and senior and was the setter for her sophomore and junior years. Flynn currently is a member of the Grand Rapids Force in the United States Professional Volleyball League (USPV).
Flynn was added to the roster with the departure of setter Robyn Ah Mow who is expecting her first child in February 2003. Under doctor’s orders, she is not allowed to play for the rest of the season. Flynn will join Lizzy Fitzgerald at the setter position.
Team USA is playing three matches in Italy and will depart on Monday, Aug. 26 for Dresden, Germany.
