Men’s Golf Tied for 6th After Two Rounds At Big Ten Tournament – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team enters third-round play of the 2002 Big Ten Men’s Golf Tournament Saturday tied for sixth place after shooting 295-285=580 after the first 36 holes of the 72-hole tournament. The event is being played at Finkbine Golf Course (7,002, Par 72) with the University of Iowa serving as host
The tournament continues with single rounds Saturday and Sunday.
Purdue is the tournament leader (279-289=568) with a four-shot lead over Minnesota and Northwestern.
Ohio State senior Doug Wade (73-69=142) leads the Buckeyes individually tied for seventh after a 3-under 69 in the second round. Junior Justin Collins is tied for 13th after two rounds of par golf (72-72=144).
Justin Smith of Minnesota is the individual tournament leader with rounds of 71-69=140.
