No. 6 Women’s Golf Wins Verizon `Mo’Morial Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 6 Ohio State women’s golf team captured first place at the Verizon ‘Mo’Morial Invitational held at the Par 72 Briarcrest Country Club (6,100) in Bryan, Texas. The competition, hosted by Texas A&M University, was cut down to 36 holes.
All five Buckeyes finished in the Top 13 places individually. Mollie Fankhauser (Jr., Dublin, Ohio/Columbus School for Girls) finished first with a score of 150 (+6). Kristen White (Fr., Doylestown, Penn./Central Bucks East) finished in fourth place with a score of 153 (+9) while Natalie Aber (Sr., Akron, Ohio/Springfield) finished 10th with a score of 156 (+12). Jennifer Borowiec (So., South Lyon, Mich./Mercy) and Allison Hanna (So., Portland, Ore./David Douglas) tied for 13th with scores of 158 (+14).
Ohio State returns to action March 25-26 at the Betsy Rawis Longhorn Classic in Austin, Texas.
