No. 7 Men’s Gymnastics Home Winning Streak Halted – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio–Due to No. 1 Oklahoma’s late arrival to the scheduled tri-meet between the Sooners, No. 7 Ohio State and No. 2 Illinois Friday at St. John Arena, the results are not yet final. Oklahoma arrived during the competition because of circumstances beyond their control and had to wait to compete until after Ohio State and Illinois finished their rotations. The Illini handed the Buckeyes their first home loss since 1991, 214. 375-213.525. The Sooners completed and were judged on all six rotations. A rules committee will meet on a date still to be determined to decide whether Oklahoma’s score will count towards meet results.
