Fuss-Cheatham, Jenkins to Miss Action with Injuries – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Brandon Fuss-Cheatham, a sophomore guard on the Ohio State men’s basketball team, had surgery on his left knee early Monday and is expected to be out for 3-5 weeks, Jim O’Brien, Ohio State head coach, said.
Fuss-Cheatham suffered a hyperextended left knee in the first half of the exhibition contest with the Harlem Globetrotters Nov. 22. He had an MRI Sunday, which indicated a partially torn lateral meniscus. Dr. Grant Jones performed the surgery early Monday at the Ohio State medical center.
Shun Jenkins, a junior forward, also suffered an injury against the Globetrotters in the second half of the 106-82 win last Friday. He broke his left little finger. Dr. Marc Trzeciak, a hand surgeon at the Ohio State Medical Center, will evaluate Jenkins Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury. Jenkins also could miss 3-5 weeks of action.
