Buckeye Pro-Am Golf Classic Set For Monday at OSU Scarlet – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio — Seventeen former members of the Ohio State men’s and women’s golf teams will return to Columbus Monday to play in the annual Buckeye Pro-Am Classic on OSU’s majestic Scarlet Golf Course.%^$
%^$The group of former Buckeyes, many of whom are now playing on the PGA and LPGA tours, includes co-chairs Ted Tryba and Amy Langhals, John Cook, Joey Sindelar, Chris Smith, Ed Sneed, Chris Wollmann, Cathy Gerring, Rosie Jones and Meg Mallon.%^$
%^$The 17 teams (each team is comprised of four amateurs and a pro) will play a team best-ball format. A shotgun start is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the par 72 course, which plays at 7,141 yards from the back tees.%^$
%^$This is the 16th year for the Buckeye Pro-Am Classic. Money raised from the event goes to benefit the men’s and women’s golf teams and the Ohio State golf courses. To date, more than $1.3 million has been raised.%^$
%^$The low individual round in the Pro-Am Classic belongs to former Buckeye Tom Weiskopf, who shot a 7-under-par 65 in 1995.%^$
%^$The one-day event is open to the public.
