Amy Tulk of Women’s Lacrosse Elevated to Team Canada World Cup Squad – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Women’s lacrosse student-athlete Amy Tulk (So., West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) has been elevated from an alternate to a participant for Team Canada for the IFWLA Women’s Lacrosse World Cup 2001 at High Hycombe, England, this week. Team Canada completed pool play undefeated with wins over Scotland (11-5), Germany (18-2) and Japan (10-6). Play continues this week with the championship Saturday.
Tulk finished the 2001 season with the Buckeyes tied for fifth in total points with 20 off 15 goals and five assists. She also picked up 27 ground balls.
Tulk joins teammate Kylee Reade (Sr., London, Ontario/Sir Fredrick Banting) who had been named to the squad previously.
