%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s golf team fired a 20-under par 268 in the second round Monday of the Aztec Invitational to move from eighth to third after two rounds on the Barona Creek Golf Club (Par 72, 7,088) in Lakeside, Calif.%^$
%^$The No. 13-ranked Buckeyes are seeking their fourth-consecutive Top 5 finish this fall.%^$
%^$Ohio State shot 1-under 287 in Round One. Buckeye senior Doug Wade (Lima, Ohio/Lima Central) then shot a career-low 64 (-8) in Round Two to move into a tie for second place with a two-round score of 137 (73-64).%^$
%^$Buckeye senior Jason Oien (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville North) and sophomore Kevin Hall (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Rita) are tied for 14th place at 5-under par 139. Both shot 71 in Round One and 68 over the second 18 holes of the 54-hole tournament.%^$
%^$The host Aztecs lead the event at 25-under par (278-273=551). Nevada is second (280-274=554).%^$
%^$Nick Watney of Fresno State has a one shot lead on the field at 8-under 136. The tournament and Ohio State’s fall season concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes.%^$
