Women’s Lacrosse Player Earns Postseason Award – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio– For the second time in the history of the Ohio State women’s lacrosse program, a Buckeye lacrosse player was honored as an All-America selection.%^$
%^$Miranda James (Sr., Charlotte, N.C./C. Milton Wright) was named a Mid-Atlantic Regional Second Team All-American for defense. James is the first and only two-time All-America in the history of the Ohio State program. Last season James became the first All-America in the history of the program when she received this same honor. She finished her career as a Buckeye with 36 goals and nine assists. James has been a mainstay on the defensive end for the Buckeyes the past four seasons.%^$
%^$Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Sue Stimmel the Buckeyes finished the 2000 season with their second-consecutive winning season, 9-7.
