COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team finished 15th at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Ga.
OSU shot 293-296-297=886. The University of Georgia won the tournament 270-274-285=829, 17 shots ahead of Clemson (283-281-282=846). OSU was led by David Wagenseller (So., Wilmington, Ohio) who shot 73-71-74=218 to tie for 27th place. Bubba Watson of Georgia was the medalist with rounds of 66-67-70=203.
The Buckeyes are in action next at the Marshall Invitational in Huntington, W.Va., April 7-8.
