Women’s Hockey Ranked Nationally For The First Time – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio-In the Top 10 poll released Monday by U.S. College Hockey Online, the Ohio State women’s ice hockey team (2-1-0 overall, 1-1-0 WCHA) is ranked tenth in the nation. The ranking is a first for the program and comes following OSU’s 4-2 win over defending national champion, No. 2 Minnesota Sunday.
Two other Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) teams are among the Top 10-No. 2 Minnesota and No. 3 Minnesota-Duluth.
The Buckeyes are back in action at home this weekend for a two-game series. OSU will face off against No. 7 New Hampshire at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 and at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the OSU Ice Arena.
