Men’s Golf Takes 17th Place At Iron Duke Classic – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio— The Buckeyes finished in 17th place, scoring 305-312-306=923 at the Iron Duke Classic. The tournament was held in Durham, N.C., Oct. 15-16.
Leading for the Buckeyes was Mike Austin (Sr., Burton, Mich./Flint Powers Catholic) in a tie for 29th place, scoring 78-71-75=224. Chris Emanuel (Sr., Otumwa, Iowa/Otumwa) finished in 31st place scoring 76-74-75=225.
North Carolina State won the tournament, scoring 301-285-290=876. Brent Wanner of Wake Forest was the 2000 Iron Duke medalist, scoring 75-65-71=211.
