Buckeye Women Rowers Earn National, Regional Awards – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three members of the OSU Rowing team have been recognized for their efforts in 1999 by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA), who recently announced the results of the All-Region, All-America and coach-of-the-year awards for the 1999 season.
OSU’s Kathy Millet a junior from Santa Clara, Calif., was named a CRCA Second Team All-American and a First Team Central Region selection. She also earned Academic all-Big Ten honors this year.
Joining Millet on the Central Region First Team is Connie Kirsch, an OSU freshman from Potsdam, Germany.
Mindy Stauffer, a sophomore from Port, Ohio, was honored as a Central Region Second Team member and was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree this season.
The Buckeye Varsity 8 squad finished the season with a 31-15 record.
