Men’s Golf Tied for Fifth at Marshall Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State mens golf team finished the first two rounds of the Marshall Invitational in Huntington, W.Va. tied for fifth place behind leader Northwestern. The Buckeyes shared the lead with the Wildcats after a first-round 298, but fell 11 shots off the lead after scoring a 305 in round two. Chris Emanuel (So., Ottumwa, Iowa) led the tournament after the first round with an even-par 71 performance that included five birdies. Emanuel is currently tied for 10th at +6, four shots behind leader D.A. Points of Illinois.
Ohio State has won the Marshall Invitational 15 times in the tournaments 30-year history.
The final round will begin Saturday April 10 at 7:30 a.m.
