Men’s Gymnastics Falls at Illinios – Ohio State Buckeyes

The No. 2 Ohio State men’s gymnastics team fell short of a victory, losing 230.00-227.750 at No. 5 Illinois on Sat., March 6. %^$Tim Elsner won the floor exercise, while Jamie Natalie tied for first with Illinois’ Travis Romagnoli on the pommel horse.%^$Daren Lynch and Peter Landry tied for first on the still rings with a score of 9.700, and Doug Stibel caputured first place on the%^$vault and horizontal bar, tying with Natalie. Landry also logged a win on the parallel bars. The Buckeyes will have their final %^$meet of the season on Sat. March 13 for a coed meet against Illinois-Chicago. This meet will also honor the departing senior class, %^$of which includes Peter Landry, Doug Stibel, Tim Elsner and Mike Canales.%^$
