Men’s Gymnastics Falls at Illinios – Ohio State Buckeyes

The No. 2 Ohio State men’s gymnastics team fell short of a victory, losing 230.00-227.750 at No. 5 Illinois on Sat., March 6. Tim Elsner won the floor exercise, while Jamie Natalie tied for first with Illinois’ Travis Romagnoli on the pommel horse. Daren Lynch and Peter Landry tied for first on the still rings with a score of 9.700, and Doug Stibel caputured first place on the vault and horizontal bar, tying with Natalie. Landry also logged a win on the parallel bars. The Buckeyes will have their final meet of the season on Sat. March 13 for a coed meet against Illinois-Chicago. This meet will also honor the departing senior class, of which includes Peter Landry, Doug Stibel, Tim Elsner and Mike Canales.
