Women’s Lacrosse Tops Notre Dame – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team defeated Notre Dame Friday afternoon, 15-12. Ohio State handed the Irish their second consecutive loss at Krause Stadium. The Buckeyes overall record now stands at 4-3, while the Irish fell to 3-2.
Erin Andersen (So., Huntington, N.Y.) scored four goals and added four assists to lead the Buckeyes. Megan Mirick (Fr., Burke, VA) also added four goals for the Buckeyes. Ohio State outshot Notre Dame 33-26 and held a decisive 37-22 edge in groundballs. Megan Barnett (Fr., Charlottesville, VA) made 14 saves in net for Ohio State, while Carrie Marshall had 12 saves for Notre Dame.
Ohio State plays Saturday afternoon at 1p.m. against the UCONN Huskies.
