Men’s Tennis Falls to Indiana – Ohio State Buckeyes

The men’s tennis team fell 2-5 to Big Ten foe Indiana at the Stickney Tennis Center Saturday afternoon. In singles action, Andrew Carlson (So., Gambrills, Md.) defeated Gabriel Montilla of Indiana in two sets, 7-6, 7-5. Sophomore Bob Wellstein (Perrysburg, Ohio) also recorded a win over Rahman Smiley, 7-6, 6-2. The No. 2 doubles team of Ben Basil (Sr., Upper Arlington, Ohio) and Derek DeFalco (So., Maumee, Ohio) defeated the Indiana duo of Milan Rakvica and Paul Jacobsen, 8-6. The Buckeyes are 6-10 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten. OSU plays host to the Purdue Boilermakers Sun., Mar. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Stickney Tennis Center.
