Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State men’s gymnast Jamie Natalie (So, Hockessin, Del.) has been named the Big Ten Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Natalie led the Buckeyes to a 227.000-218.900 victory in Philadelphia over the Temple University Owls, sweeping all but one event on the day. He tallied a career high on the floor exercise (9.750) and in the all-around (58.600). His score in the all-around was also the best in the NCAA to date. After the weekend, Natalie now leads the nation for the all-around and parallel bars.
Natalie and the Buckeyes are competing this weekend at the Big Ten Mens Gymnastics Tournament in Iowa. The University of Iowa is hosting the competition on March 26-27.
