Natalie Travels to Vegas for Winter Cup National – Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State will send sophomore Jamie Natalie to Las Vegas to compete in the Winter Cup National over the upcoming weekend. Among those competing is the Buckeyes own Blaine Wilson. After the first day of competing, judges whittle down the field to the top 36 gymnasts in the nation. From this field, the best is chosen. The Winter Cup National is also when the National Team, World University Games Team and Pan Am Team will be chosen.
ELSNER CLAIMS THE ALL-AROUND
Tim Elsner laid his claim on the all-around crown against Minnesota over the weekend. Elsner won the floor excercise (9.825) en route to the title. Daren Lynch won on the still rings, Earnest Nelson was a winner on the vault and Peter Landry on the parallel bars. Doug Stibel, who saw his two consecutive week win streak in the all-around broken by Elsner, won on the horizontal bar.
