Davidson No Match for the Womens Lacrosse – Ohio State Buckeyes

Davidson, N.C. – The Ohio State women’s lacrosse team evened its record at 5-5, moving back to 500, defeating the Davidson Wildcats 16-7.
The Buckeyes dominated the Cats with speed and agility. They took it to Davidson right from the start scoring two quick goals. Ohio State had no shortage of goals as nine different players scored on offense. Leading the Buckeyes attack was Celeste Cianfrani (Fr., Telford, Pa.) who scored a game high four goals. Gillian Grim (So., Shaker Heights, Ohio) contributed to the Buckeyes offensive strike with three goals. Laurie Rybak (Sr., Worthington, Ohio) got into the action with a goal and three assists. Miranda James (So., BelAir, Md.) and Mara Simpson (Sr., Worthington, Ohio) also tallied a goal each. The Buckeyes received excellent goalie play from Jamie Bauer (Sr., Powell, Ohio) who had 13 saves.
Ohio State returns home on Tuesday, April 14 to host Denison at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
