Volleyball Drop 3-0 Decision to No. 8 Wisconsin – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State (12-11 overall, 5-9 Big Ten) lost 15-7, 15-8, 15-10 to No. 8 Wisconsin (21-4, 11-3) Saturday night in the Wisconsin Field House before 2,808 fans. Rosie Snow scored a match-high 13 kills and added 11 digs for the Buckeyes. Jen Flynn had eight kills and nine digs, with Carey Cavanaugh adding a match high 12 digs. The Badgers used a balanced attack with four players with double figure kills. Kate Fitzgerald had a match high 13 kills, while Kelly Kennedy had 11 and Keylee Wright and Sherisa Livingston added 10 each. Setter Colleen Neels had a match high 12 digs for Wisconsin.
%^$Wisconsin used a solid .304 hitting percentage in the match for the win. OSU hit only .076. The Buckeyes did outblock Wisconsin, seven to four, and had four aces to three for the Badgers. Each team recorded 49 digs.
%^$Ohio State returns home next week to face No. 2 Penn State on Wednesday, Nov. 11 in St. John Arena at 7 p.m. OSU then hosts #23 Minnesota on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.%^$
