
Guzdanski and Murray Secure New Titles

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s basketball program announced the change of titles for Reid Guzdanski and Ryan Murray on Monday. Guzdanski will now serve as the director of recruiting operations & professional development, while Murray will now be the director of scouting & player development.
Guzdanski (’14) began his second tenure at Ohio State prior to the 2017-18 season. He oversees all recruiting operations including coordinating on campus visits, recruiting materials, student-athlete NIL opportunities, media relations, and serves as the liaison to compliance office. He manages each student-athlete’s career and professional development plan by coordinating and executing all programming within the Eugene Smith Leadership Institute. Guzdanski collaborates with the EDSLI to create a well-rounded holistic experience for student-athletes while helping them secure opportunities outside of basketball.
Murray (’18) began his second tenure at Ohio State in July 2019. Murray is a key consultant to the coaching staff for the holistic development of student athletes. Murray coordinates the development of NIL content and other educational materials and collaborates with coaching staff, strength/conditioning, athletic training and nutrition staff to ensure player performance and growth. He has implemented a system for coaches to scout all opponents efficiently and effectively. He provides new recommendations based on statistical analysis and basketball trends across the professional, college and international landscape.
