On experienced players vs. innocence of new guys:
“It’s a fine line. It’s like raising children. You want them to grow but not toward something that’s catastrophic to their growth and hinders their confidence. Let’s make sure they’re gaining confidence. They have to know that’s the water is getting deeper but they can still survive it. On what he’s working on this preseason:
“For me, a couple of things have come up but my main focus is on the team. Heading into this year, I have more time to reflect on my time here. I’m getting my master’s degree now so I’m not out of it yet. I’m excited to get into architecture classes this fall.”

“Camp is going well. It’s amazing grinding with the guys. I’m excited to see what’s in store this season. I had some things I had to focus on during summer camp so I was ready in the fall. I’m way more comfortable. We practice like pros. Every snap; every rep. That’s what spring helped me with–knowing what to do and know what not to do.”
