COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State’s Ryan Terefenko has added another honor to his ever-growing professional resume. The second-year pro has been selected to the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game, which will take place at Gillette Stadium this coming Saturday, July 16th at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Terefenko will be a member of Team Farrell and is the lone short stick defensive midfielder on the squad. It will also mark the second consecutive season that a member of the #ProBucks fraternity has made the All-Star Game. In 2021, Dominique Alexander represented the scarlet and gray in the game.

In his second season playing for the Chrome, Terefenko has contributed in every way possible. In five games, he has 10 ground balls, four caused turnovers and three points (one goal, two assists). His top defensive game came on June 10 vs. the Redwoods when he caused two turnovers and added five ground balls. On the offensive end of the field, his game-tying goal on June 25 late in the fourth quarter vs. the Cannons was part of a two-point night and led to an overtime win.

Terefenko’s play has helped the Chrome to a 4-1 start to the season, which is tied with the Atlas and Whipsnakes for the best record in the league. When regular season play resumes the weekend on July 23-24, the Chrome will face the Waterdogs on July 24 at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN2. The Waterdogs’ roster includes two #ProBucks: faceoff specialist Jake Withers and defenseman Ben Randall.
