COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State field hockey team will be holding three camps and a clinic this summer. All will feature quality instruction from college, national and international coaches and Ohio State’s skill development program.
The camp schedule is as follows:
June 11 Summer Clinic
July 6-8 Team Camp
July 18-20 Elite Camp
August 9-10 Day Camp
TUESDAY, JUNE 11 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | GRADES 4 – 12 | $80
The clinic is open to any and all girls in grades 4-12. The clinic is intended for the advanced, year-round player. This clinic will look to develop elite level skills and tactics ranging from individual to team strategies, goal scoring, and small games. A video session will also be included. Goal keepers will have specialized training for personal development.
JULY 6-8
The Team Camp will feature instruction on field hockey fundamentals from college, national and international coaches with a curriculum designed for both beginner and advanced level players. Ohio State’s skill development program for all positions will be used throughout the seven training sessions. The camp will also feature team building activities and team development and tactics. Full-time athletic training staff will be available.
JULY 18-20
The Elite Camp welcomes both partial and full teams. Players will get instruction on field hockey fundamentals from college, national and international coaches, with a curriculum designed for both beginner and advanced level players. Ohio State’s skill development program for all positions will be used throughout the seven training sessions. Full-time athletic training staff will be available.
AUGUST 9 – 10 | GRADES 3 – 6 | $50 | DAY 1: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM | DAY 2: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The Day Camp is designed for campers grades 3-6. Players will get instruction on field hockey fundamentals from college, national and international coaches along with Ohio State field hockey student-athletes. Small games will be played , and parents can attend with their camper.
