2015-16 Season: Was the starter at 149 lbs. vs. Nebraska and Penn State … won two matches at the season-opening Eastern Michigan Open … won once at the Michigan State Open.
2014-15 Season: Debuted with the Buckeyes by wrestling in 14 matches during open tournaments … two of his three wins were by bonus points (one pin, one major decision) … made his varsity debut at Rutgers (2/1) … competed in the Mercyhurst Open, Michigan State Open, Eastern Michigan Open, Cleveland State Open and Purple Raider Open.
Prior to Ohio State: Attended Clarion University and was a Dean’s List student … finished his high school career with a record of 62-27 at Buena Regional in New Jersey … went 23-4 as a senior at 120 pounds … advanced to the round of 24 at Flo nationals … was 22-5 in 2012 at 106 pounds … made the round of 24 at Beast of the East … a 2011 Junior Freestyle state champion.
