Prior to Ohio State:
• Division III 170-pound state champion as a senior
• Ranked in the Top 100 across all weight classes (No. 98)
• Won the 160-pound state title as a junior
• Three-time place finisher and won both the Beachwood sectional and Garfield Heights district tournaments
• Earned an eighth-place finish in the Ironman Tournament, and first place in the Beachwood, Kenston, Bill Dies and Chagrin Valley Conference tournaments
• Had a 188-14 career record, including a 97-3 mark over his junior and senior seasons
