2015 (Junior Season): First Varsity Four coxswain for the first two events of the season … opened the season finishing first in front of No. 9 Notre Dame (7:13.35) and No. 18 Louisville (7:11.51), at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual at Griggs Reservoir March 28… captured first place at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Charlottesville, Va., April 4, defeating No. 4 Virginia (7:03.2) and Clemson (7:28.8) … finished the season as coxswain of the Second Varsity Eight … won both races at the Big Ten Double Dual on Griggs Reservoir April 11; earned the first victory (6:04.88) by 12 seconds over No. 19 Minnesota and the second over No. 18 Wisconsin (6:09.25-6:10.07) … won two of three races over two days at the Clemson Invitational in Clemson, S.C. April 18-19 … captured a second-place finish (6:38.2) behind Virginia in the morning session (6:25.7) and defeated Washington State by three-tenths of a second in the evening (6:32.5) on day one, followed by a win on day two over No. 16 UCLA … captured a win in the regular season finale at Griggs Reservoir April 25 with a time of 6:36.1 … placed second at the 2015 Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind., with a time of 7:02.29, helping the Buckeyes’ to a third consecutive Big Ten team championship and fifth overall … earned a silver medal at the 2015 NCAA Championships at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Gold River, Calif., clinching the program’s third-consecutive national team title … Academic All-Big Ten and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
2014 (Sophomore Season): Coxswain of the second varsity four in every regular season race of the season … opened the season with a victory (7:23.09) against No. 12 Michigan at Griggs Reservoir March 29 … captured two wins at the Oregon State Classic at Dexter Lake in Lowell, Ore., the first (7:20.2) over No. 9 Michigan, No. 20 Oregon State `B’ and Oregon State `C’ and the second (7:21.36) over Michigan and Oregon State `B’ … claimed first place (7:55.20) over No. 19 Louisville, Iowa and Indiana April 12 in Iowa City, Iowa … picked up a win (7:31.90) over No. 9 Notre Dame at the Big Ten/Acc Challenge April 19 at Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor, Mich. … collected two more wins during the regular season finale May 3 in Ann Arbor, Mich., a victory (7:40.4) over Michigan State and another (8:12.93) over No. 17 Louisville … captured a conference title with the first varsity four as they defeated Wisconsin and Michigan State with a time of 7:27.30 at the 2014 Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind. … earned a seventh-place overall finish at the NCAA championshipS after sounding the horn in first place in the varsity four Petite Final … Academic All-Big Ten selection, CRCA Scholar-Athlete and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
2013 (Freshman Season): Coxswain of the first novice eight in every race of the season … opened the season with a fourth-place finish (7:45.3) at No. 3 Princeton with No. 13 Brown at Carnegie Lake, N.J. March 30 … claimed two third-place finishes at the OSU Invitational at Griggs Reservoir April 6, both to Michigan and Notre Dame in times of 7:47.82 and 7:50.52, respectively … placed second behind Michigan (6:58.8-7:01.1) at the Big Ten Duals April 13 at Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor, Mich., … captured two first-place finishes at the Clemson Invitational at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. April 20-21; the first over Virginia, Oklahoma, UCF and Louisville in 6:58.2 and the second over Clemson, Texas, Penn, UCF and Miami in 6:45.0 … placed second (7:17.00) to No. 8 Harvard-Radcliffe May 4 at Griggs Reservoir … captured a first-place finish and gold medal at the 2013 Big Ten Championships after crossing the line in 7:06.90 ahead of second-place Wisconsin and third-place Michigan … OSU Scholar-Athlete.
