Saw time on the Second Varsity Eight, First Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four throughout the season … earned silver on the 2V4 at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 7:06.82 to help Ohio State win its fourth-consecutive conference title … member of Second Varsity Four that knocked off No. 16 Syracuse and Michigan State with a season-best time of 6:58.1 at the April 23rd tri-regatta at Griggs Reservoir … rowed with the First Varsity Four at the Clemson Invite and helped the Buckeyes win two of three races and go a combined 14-2 on during the two-day regatta … aided the 1V4 team to two victories over No. 10 Michigan and Michigan State in Princeton, N.J. with times of 7:42.9 and 8:33.2 … member of the 2V8 at the April 2 tri-regatta with No. 4 Virginia and Clemson that resulted in a win over Clemson with a time of 6:33.1 … competed at the season-opening regatta against No. 3 Brown, No. 6 Yale and No.. 11 Princeton with the 1V4 on March 26.
2015 (Sophomore)
Claimed first place over Minnesota (6:59.88) on April 11 at the Big Ten Double Dual in Columbus as a member of the Second Varsity Four … raced as a member of the Third Varsity Four against Michigan, Michigan State, Syracuse and the Buckeye 2V4 on April 25 at Griggs Reservoir … Big Ten champion with the Second Varsity Four, earning a commanding 10-second victory over No. 1-seed Wisconsin at the conference championships May 17.
Prior to Ohio State
Attended Clemson University and Columbus School for Girls … lettered two years in basketball at CSG, serving as captain her senior year … also played volleyball.

Daughter of Mark and Theresa Darnell … has two brothers, Steven and James … majoring in marketing, with plans of owning her own business … enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, listening to music, cars and going to the beach.
