Rowed as a member of the First Novice Eight in every race of the season… opened the season with a win over Notre Dame at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual March 28 in a time of 6:44.04 … captured first place over the Clemson Third Varsity Eight at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Charlottesville, Va., April 4 … claimed a win over Minnesota at the Big Ten Double Dual on Griggs Reservoir April 11 in a time of 6:19.37 … won two of three races over two days at the Clemson Invitational in Clemson, S.C., April 18-19 … opened the competition with a runner-up finish behind Virginia in a combined 3V8/1N8 race with a time of 6:50.9 before posting a first-place time of 6:46.3 in the second race of the day, three seconds faster than Syracuse; closed the two-day regatta with a neck-and-neck battle against Michigan State in a combined 3V8/1N8 contest, beating the Spartans in a photo finish (6:43.0-6:43.3) … defeated Michigan State by three seconds (6:48.3-6:51.00) in the regular season finale at Griggs Reservoir April 25 … earned a narrow victory over No.1-seed Wisconsin at the Big Ten championships in a time of 7:10.29, claiming Ohio State’s third 1V8 conference title in four seasons … Ohio State Scholar-Athlete.
