2016 (Junior)
Rowed as a member of the Second Varsity Eight the whole season before moving up to the First Varsity Eight for the NCAA Championships … helped First Varsity Eight win its third-consecutive national title with a time of 6:19.04 to edge California … earned gold on the 2V8 at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 6:24.42 to help Ohio State wins its fourth conference title in a row … helped the 2V8 post a 2-0 record at the home regatta against No. 16 Syracuse and Michigan State with a season-best time of 6:18.5 … aided the Second Varsity Eight in going 17-0 at the Clemson Invite over the course of three races … rowed on the Second Varsity Eight at the first three regattas of the season to help Buckeyes post wins over No. 11 Princeton, No. 7 Michigan, Clemson and Michigan State.
2015 (Sophomore)
Raced as a member of the First Varsity Four from April 4 through April 25 … captured first at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Charlottesville, Va., defeating No. 4 Virginia (7:03.2) and Clemson (7:28.8) … defeated Minnesota (6:45.21) at Griggs Reservoir on April 11 but fell to Wisconsin (6:44.96-6:49.39) … finished second to Virginia (7:31.1) but ahead of Syracuse, Harvard, UCLA, Indiana and Dartmouth in the first session at the Clemson Invitational in Clemson, S.C., on April 18; placed first in the second session, defeating Washington State (7:23.6-7:24.7) … claimed first place against Michigan (7:24.5) on April 25 at Griggs Reservoir … finished the season as a member of the Second Varsity Eight … placed second at the 2015 Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind., with a time of 7:02.29, helping the Buckeyes to a third consecutive Big Ten team championship and fifth overall … earned a silver medal with the 2V8 at the 2015 NCAA Championships in Gold River, Calif., clinching the program’s third team title … Academic All-Big Ten and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
