Academic All-Big Ten and OSU Scholar Athlete … All-American on both one-meter and platform … honorable mention All-American on three-meter … finished third at NCAA Championships on platform with a score of 478.25 and eighth on one-meter with a score of 327.00 … had the highest score in the consolation finals on three-meter at NCAA’s (451.30), which was the sixth-highest overall score … finished in the Top 3 in every event at Big Ten Championships, including two second place finishes: three-meter (510.30) and platform (532.50) … turned in two dives in the platform finals at Big Tens that earned perfect scores … finished in first place in all 18 events he competed in during the regular season … at the 2016 USA Diving Winter National Championships he finished in second place on three-meter and platform and third place on one-meter
As a redshirt freshman (2016):
2016 NCAA National Champion in platform diving with a score of 499.10 … 2016 Big Ten Champion in platform (498.95) and one-meter (450.55) … unanimously chosen as 2016 Big Ten Diver of the Year, the first to earn the honor unanimously since 2011 … Ohio State’s third-ever platform diving national champion … five-time B1G Diver of the Week … set the pool record at NCAA’s (hosted by Georgia Tech) on platform with his score of 509.25 during prelims … placed first in 24 of his 30 diving events throughout the season, finishing outside of the top-two just once (a third place finish on one-meter at the NCAA Championships)
