Mo Lavallee Lavallee was elevated into the role of general manager of Buckeye Lacrosse in August 2025. In her role, which is one of the first of its kind within the sport, Lavallee plays a major role in recruiting organization, NIL, alumni and donor relations and managing team operating budget in addition to her current responsibilities of team logistics and assistant to the head coach.Â
She has played an integral part in the program’s success since her arrival ahead of the 2022 season. In that time, Ohio State have reached the NCAA Tournament twice, won back-to-back Big Ten Regular Season Championships in 2025 and 2026, won the Big Ten Tournament Championship in 2025 and have had three double-digit win seasons in 2022, 2025 and 2026.Â
"I could not be more thankful to Coach Myers, Janine Oman and the entire Buckeye Lacrosse family," Lavallee said. "I'm excited to take this next step and continue to evolve within the collegiate athletic landscape. I get to come to work every day and dedicate myself to the student-athlete experience, and I could not be more thrilled to continue to develop our men and program and advocate for lacrosse."
Lavallee enters her sixth year with Buckeye Lacrosse, previously serving as the team's Director of Operations since 2021.Â
"Mo is a difference maker," Myers said. "She goes above and beyond to make the student-athlete experience second to none. There is no task too big or too small for Mo when it comes to making us better and supporting our men both on and off the field. This promotion is one of the first of its kind in men's lacrosse and there is no one more deserving of this distinction. In the ever-changing landscape of college lacrosse, Mo will be charged with making sure our men, and their families, are supported in every aspect of the Ohio State student-athlete experience." Â
A 2020 graduate of Syracuse University who spent five years with the Orange’s women’s lacrosse program.
Lavallee was an integral part of the SU women’s program under head coach Gary Gait. She handled all travel, meals and itineraries during road trips in addition to creating video and social media content as well as newsletters and other public relations content. Lavallee also facilitated logistical needs for youth tournaments.
“We are thrilled to bring Mo on as our Director of Operations,” said Myers. “She brings with her great experience from Syracuse and we know she’ll hit the ground running here in Columbus. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her into the Buckeye Lacrosse family!”

Lavallee, who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse, earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and rhetorical studies with minors in marketing and sport management, before completing her master’s degree in Sport & Venue Management. During the 2019-20 school year, she was an intern in Syracuse’s athletics communication office and assisted in the publicity and promotion of a variety of sports. She also worked at Syracuse as an athletics academic tutor.
“Mo is an exceptional person that focuses on the details of getting things done,” said Gait, who served as SU’s women’s head coach from 2007 through 2021 before recently being hired as Syracuse’s men’s head coach. “Syracuse women’s lacrosse was very fortunate to have her for the past five years. We know she will be an excellent addition to the Ohio State lacrosse staff.”
