- Played for the Boston Junior Bandits in the EHL for two years; had 50 points (22g, 28a) in 44 games in 2013-14 and 13 points (6g, 7a) in 41 games in 2012-13
- Played in Cleveland Barons program; 35 points, with 14 goals and 21 assists, in 40 games with the Barons U18 team in 2010-11 and 15 points, including 12 goals, in 2011-12
- Graduated from St. Edward’s High School in 2012
- Played baseball, lacrosse, football and soccer growing up
Off the Ice
- Son of Allen and Sally and has two siblings, Charlie, who plays on the men’s hockey team at Minnesota State, and Coco
- Enjoys reading books and listening to music
- Communication major
- Attracted to Ohio State because of the opportunity to play Division I hockey in the Big Ten, the coaching staff and because it is his state school
- Has worked teaching younger hockey players how to skate
- Started playing hockey at age 3 after seeing his preschool classmate dressed as a hockey player for Halloween and becoming interested in the game
- Favorite hockey player is Jonathan Toews because “he is the best leader in the NHL right now”
- Grew up playing with Ohio State classmate Tommy Parran in the Cleveland Barons organization and was teammates with Buckeye Miguel Fidler in Madison
