- Bozhidar Russev even coached Caden's mother, Hrabrina Spencer, to the 1988 Olympics in South Korea as a member of the Bulgarian team
- His uncle, Drew Spencer, was a member of the Ohio State gymnastics team from 1990-96
- Plans to pursue gymnastics to the highest level, such as world championships and at the Olympics, as well as at his family's gym in Huntington
- Greatest sports thrills are securing gold medals at the USA Gymnastics national competition and competing in Varna, Bulgaria, his mother's hometown
