Season Permit Parking

A number of parking lots and garages surrounding Ohio Stadium are sold on a ‘Season Permit’ basis only. In order to be eligible to purchase Season Permits, you must be a member of the Buckeye Club. These Season Permit Lot locations are divided into three tiers of parking (Premiere, Proximity, and Non-Proximity). Priority for selection of parking lots is determined by your Athletics giving level and then priority points within each level. Click here for information on Season Permit Parking. Many Season Permit lots and garages will requires guests to pass through police security checkpoints. All vehicles entering through checkpoints are subject to security screening and inspection of all vehicles and persons passing through. Inspections may be done visually or with other means such as K9 inspections and x-ray inspections. Guests refusing security screenings will be turned away without refund of tickets.
These season permit lots are reserved for those who have purchased a season parking permit. Spaces in these lots are held for permit holders until 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Guests wishing to park in their designated permit lot should plan to arrive early to hold their space.
- Vehicle and tailgate activities must fit within the 8 ½’ x 15’ space provided
- Each permit allows 1 vehicle that meets parking space regulations, into the reserved lot. Permits are to be used for motor vehicles only.

Single Game Permit Lot Sales

Single game pre-sale parking permits will be available in 2025 on a very limited basis in the Fawcett Center Lot and the Sisson Lot. These are the only two permit lots where single game pre-sales will be conducted, while supplies last. These pre-sale permits will go on sale beginning Friday, August 22nd through Ticketmaster at this link. Once the limited inventory is exhausted, only Day of Game parking sales will be available. Those parking in the Season Permit Parking lots/garages will need to abide by all parking, traffic, and tailgating policies listed in sections above and below.
Day of Game Parking

If you are not a Season Parking Permit holder, other parking spaces on campus are sold on a Day of Game, first come, first serve basis only. Premier Day of Game locations are $60 per vehicle, Proximity Day of Game locations are $40 per vehicle, and non-proximity day of game locations are $30 per vehicle. All payments for Day of Game locations are credit card or smartphone payment only - no cash is accepted – at the entrance to each parking area. No advanced reservations are sold, including the Disability Parking Lot/Garage. All vehicles parking in the Day of Game Lots and Garages are subject to all University Tailgating Policies.
Disability Parking & Shuttle

Disability Parking is located in the surface lots north of St. John Arena and in the Lane Avenue Garage. Guests should approach these two areas from Lane Avenue. Disability parking is $30 per vehicle and can be paid by credit card or smartphone payments at the entry to the lot. No cash is accepted in any lot or garage on gamedays. A current state issued disability placard (temporary or permanent placard and from any state is allowed), along with the vehicle's registration, and the person who owns the placard must be in the vehicle to enter the parking area (police officers may validate the ownership of the placard at any time and issue citations to those violating Ohio law regarding usage of ADA placards.)
An complimentary accessible shuttle will transport guests from the Disability parking lots north of St. John Arena to the east side of Ohio Stadium near Gate 22/26. This shuttle will operate from six hours prior to kickoff/show start until one hour after the game/concert. The shuttle stop at St. John Arena is inside the handicap parking lot and located at the east end north of Converse Hall (ROTC building). The stop at Ohio Stadium is located just outside Gate 22 for football games and Gate 12 for concerts. The ADA shuttle buses are unable to make additional stops at other locations around campus. The shuttles are equipped with wheelchair lifts – two wheelchairs can be secured inside each shuttle bus for a trip. You are not required to have parked in the Disability Lot/Garage in order to board or utilize the ADA shuttles to the stadium.
Guests parked in the Disability Lots are permitted to setup tailgates. Trailers, storage units, and tailgating activities may not take up vacant parking spaces, vehicle unloading spaces, crosswalks, or interfere with traffic flow within a parking lot. Drive lanes in parking lots must be maintained at all times. Parking permit holders are responsible for the functions they host in their parking spaces. Vehicle and tailgate must fit within the 8.5' x 15' space provided.
Due to security measures in place around the stadium, vehicles without East and West Stadium Parking Permits are not able to pass through police checkpoints to drop off guests near the stadium. However, you may be able to drop off along Lane Avenue near St. John Arena (traffic can be very heavy at times) and then board the ADA shuttle to Ohio Stadium.
West Campus Shuttle

NEW LOCATION: A complimentary shuttle service will transport guests from the West Campus Lots (Carmack Lots near Kenny Road & Woody Hayes Drive) to the Campus Transit Hub (located off John Herrick Drive near the Lincoln Tower fields). The West Campus pickup spot is in front of Mount Hall. The Transit Hub drop off is conveniently located just south of Ohio Stadium near the recreational tennis courts. This shuttle will operate from 6 hours prior kickoff until 1 hour after the game. The shuttles are large transit busses, which additionally have a wheelchair lift and can accommodate up to two wheelchairs at a time if needed.
Woody Hayes Drive Closure
New in 2025 - Woody Hayes Drive between Tuttle Park and Cannon Drive will be CLOSED to all vehicle traffic. In order to create a safer environment for pedestrians in this extremely busy area, Woody Hayes Drive will have hard barricade closures at both ends. All West Stadium & South Fieldhouse Permit Holders MUST ENTER the area from Cannon Drive or from West Campus along Woody Hayes Drive. All East Stadium, East Tuttle, and Tuttle Permit Holders MUST ENTER the area from High Street at Woodruff Avenue. There will be absolutely no cross traffic permitted if you enter from the wrong direction. Drivers entering from the wrong direction will be directed back out to Lane Avenue to access your route to your lot.
RV Parking
RV Parking is available in the Gray Lots & Buckeye Lots near the Schottenstein Center. An RV Permit must be purchased in order to park in the RV Lots. Generally, RV Parking is only sold on a Season Permit basis. There may be some single game RV parking permits available from some games. All RVs, your tailgate equipment, and any other vehicles (towing vehicle or towed vehicle) must fit within the assigned space of approximately 40’x60’. RV parking permits do not allow in and out privileges for towing or towed vehicles. Each permit allows one entrance to the lot (towing/towed vehicles should arrive all together). Rideshare

Rideshare vehicles are required to pickup and drop off in one of two designated locations on gamedays. Rideshare vehicles will not be able to access any streets in or around Ohio Stadium. When requesting a ride through a rideshare app, you will likely be directed to one of the two designated locations - you will not be able to direct the drivers closer to Ohio Stadium. Rideshares can pickup/dropoff along Borror Drive near the Schottenstein Center OR they may stop at 19th & Neil Avenue in Central Campus.
Scooter Parking
With more than 100,000 fans heading down to the stadium on gameday, we all need to look out for our fellow Buckeyes while walking, biking and driving. A Scooter Parking Zone can be found at the RPAC Tennis Courts to the South of Ohio Stadium. This area will open 4 hours prior to kickoff and close 1 hour after kickoff. Please be aware of the increasing scooter traffic on campus. Motorized scooter users must follow all applicable state and local laws, ordinances and university policies. The university recently published motorized scooter safety guidelines. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these guidelines.
Pedestrian traffic is extremely heavy around campus on gameday, especially near Ohio Stadium. Riding a scooter in heavy pedestrian traffic should be avoided – remember to maintain a three-foot minimum distance from pedestrians. All vehicles, including scooters, are subject to security screening and inspection as you near Ohio Stadium. Like bicycles, scooters may not be ridden/parked inside or outside of Ohio Stadium near its gates. Bicycle Parking
NEW: A complimentary bike valet is located on the Olentangy River Trail, near the footbridge adjacent to Lincoln/Morrill Tower. Bicyclists are provided with a “claim check” and can retrieve their bicycles after the game. Additional bike corrals (unstaffed) are available at the RPAC building south of Ohio Stadium.

Inbound Traffic Map
The Ohio State University and our public safety partners work tirelessly to get fans safely in and out of the campus area by many modes of transportation. It is important for guests to pre-plan their route in and out of the area, but to have a backup route as well. This inbound traffic map displays the general traffic flow that is in place on gamedays, including road closures and checkpoints where only Season Permit holders can pass through. Officers begin directing traffic and closing certain roadways approximately 4-5 hours prior to kickoff. These maps, routing and road closures are subject to change at any time – please listen to the direction of traffic control officers.

Guests should use this map to understands the likely direction you will be routed when leaving the campus area. Party Bus & Livery/Limo Vehicle Parking
A new parking option is coming to Ohio State Gameday! Gather your friends and family and come down to campus in your favorite party bus or limo – don’t worry, we have parking for you. Reserved parking for these oversized vehicles will be available just south of the Lincoln Tower fields when you purchase a special permit. Permits are $150 per game and will grant access to parking just steps from Ohio Stadium to your group, along john Herrick Drive. - Permits are sold ahead of the game only, no day of sales will be available.
- A digital parking permit will be issued to the purchaser via your Ohio State Buckeyes ticketing account.
- Permits will be scanned once upon arrival.
- Vehicles are parked in the order of arrival – there is no specific assigned slot. Vehicles will be parked tightly together upon arrival.
- Drivers from the vehicle company must remain with the vehicle, and the vehicle must remain on site at all times. Drivers & vehicles will not be permitted to exit the area and return later for a pickup.
- Tailgating is not permitted in this area – just parking for your vehicle!
- Large charter/coaches are not permitted in this lot. The maximum size allowed is a 30 passenger size bus, approximately no larger than 27’ in length. Larger vehicles will be turned away with no refund.
Directions for Season Parking Permits
Are you a Season Parking Permit Holder? All season parking permits will be issued digitally, alongside your game tickets to your Ohio State Buckeyes account! Traffic patterns have changed slightly and it will be important that you follow the exact turn by turn directions to access your Season Permit Parking Lot.
Your parking permit may show a “Row / Seat” number on them, but don’t worry, this is just for inventory purposes. With the exception of RV parking, spaces are filled on a first come, first serve.
When you approach the traffic control officers close to campus, you will need to have a passenger display your parking permit so the officers can view it and direct you through the intersections. The background color of your permit will tell the traffic control officers whether you get to go straight, turn left, or turn right – this will guide you to the right part of campus!
WEST STADIUM LOTS (WS)

You can also take Lane Avenue or Kinnear Road to Kenny Road near West Campus.
