Who Can Play?
Student
- Any current, full-time OSU student
- Parents of students to not qualify to play on their own
- BuckID required at time of check in to verify status
- Must not have been terminated or non-renewed as a member of Ohio State Golf Club
- Able to make a tee time 4 days in advance
- Privilege of golfing 6 times during the season (April 1-October 31)
- May bring up to 3 guests at any time
- Restriction: May only have one guest prior to noon on the Scarlet course on weekends and holidays
Faculty/Staff
- Any current or emeritus Faculty/Staff of the university or medical center
- BuckID or medical center badge needed at time of check in to verify status
- Spouse of Faculty/Staff does not qualify
- Must not have been terminated or non-renewed as a member of Ohio State Golf Club
- Able to make a tee time 4 days in advance
- Privilege of golfing 6 times during the season (April 1-October 31)
- May bring up to 3 guests at any time
- Restriction: May only have one guest prior to noon on the Scarlet course on weekends and holidays
Affiliate
- Any person who is a:
- Sustaining or Life Member of the OSU Alumni Association
- Associate members/Spouse of the Alumni Association do not qualify
- Buckeye Club ($250 donation or more)
- President’s Club
- Varsity “O”
- Sustaining or Life Member of the OSU Alumni Association
- Card or donation receipt needed at time of check in to verify status
- Must not have been terminated or non-renewed as a member of Ohio State Golf Club
- Able to make a tee time 4 days in advance
- Privilege of golfing 6 times during the season (April 1-October 31)
- May bring up to 3 guests at any time

Range & Practice Facilities
All practice facilities at The Ohio State University Golf Club are private to our golf club members; this includes the driving range, putting green, and chipping area. One must be a member of The Ohio State University Golf Club in order to access any of our practice facilities.

Spectators
For the safety of our guests and members, The Ohio State University Golf Club does not allow spectators on either course. For a guest of the club to gain access to the course, they must pay a greens fee, be carrying their own golf bag, be dressed in proper golf attire, as well as pay a cart fee (if desired).
Dress Code
Proper “golf attire” is required at all times to play and practice; this includes the off-season (November 1 – March 31).
Men (including junior boys):
- A collared shirt is required (a mock turtle neck is an acceptable form of collared shirt).
- Shirts shall remain tucked in at all times.
- T-shirts, sleeveless shirts, and sweatshirts are prohibited.
- Khakis, cargo shorts, golf shorts, and rain pants are an acceptable form of bottoms.
- Denim, athletic shorts, and sweatpants will be deemed unacceptable
- Golf shoes or tennis shoes are required; no flip flops.
- Hats are to be front facing and taken off indoors when entering the clubhouse or golf shop.
Women (including junior girls):
- Shirts require either a collar OR sleeves.
- No tank tops or hooded sweatshirts will be accepted.
- Khaki, golf shorts, skort and skirts are an acceptable form of bottoms.
- No Denim/jeans, athletic shorts, yoga pants, or sweatpants will be allowed
- Golf shoes or tennis shoes are required; no flip flops
