- The women are ranked No. 12 in the nation according to USTFCCCA, their highest ranking since 2012, and third-highest ranking in program history. They also rank in the Top 10 in three events: 5000m Run, 60m Hurdles, and Shot Put.
- Senior Sade Olatoye is No. 1 in Weight Throw (23.51m) and No. 3 in Shot Put in the country, and the best in the Big Ten in both events. Her 17.57m Shot Put is an Ohio State school record. Additionally, she has won four straight Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week awards leading up to the Buckeye Tune-Up.
- Last week, junior Abby Nichols and senior Nick Gray both set school records. Nichols competed at the GVSU Big Meet, and recorded the best 5000m Run in Buckeye history (16:14.00). Nick Gray ran the 60m Dash in a never-before-seen 6.61 at the Tiger Paw Invitational. That time ranks Gray 10th in the country for the event.
- Sophomore Anavia Battle is the fifth-best runner in the 200m Dash this year. Her time of 23.00s at the Tiger Paw Invitational also gives her the best time in the Big Ten this year.
- Luke Landis and Julia Rizk have been two dominant seniors this year. The long-distance specialists continue to break personal records in the 3000m Run and Mile Run. Landis has won his last four races, while Rizk won four of her last five long-distance events.
