COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 5 Ohio State men’s gymnastics team travels to No. 6 Michigan for the Big Ten opener on Saturday for a 1 p.m. dual meet. The meet will be broadcast live on B1G+.

  • Ohio State had the highest team score (405.350) among six teams at the Navy Open last weekend.
  • On Monday, freshman Kristian Grahovski was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Week, the first weekly award for a Buckeye this season.
  • At the Navy Open, the Buckeyes improved five of their six event scores from the previous week.
  • Ohio State earned the highest pommel horse score in the country so far this season with a total of 68.250 at the Navy Open.
  • Grahovski won the pommel horse title with a career-best 14.250.
  • Freshman Parker Thackston is tied for fifth in the country on pommel horse with an average score of 13.900. He also reached 14.000 this past weekend.

The Buckeyes’ first home meet is against Illinois on Feb. 11, beginning at 1 p.m. ET. Admission and parking are free to all regular-season home men’s gymnastics meets. Ohio State will host the 2023 Big Ten Championships on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1.
