Buckeyes travel to Virginia to face George Mason Friday

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 3 Ohio State (5-2-1, 0-2-1) fell to Washington (5-3-1, 2-1-0) Monday 4-0 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium (Att: 756).

The Huskies got on the board first with a goal by Harrison Bertos in the 39'. It was assisted by Osato Enabulele.
Ohio State played a man down for the final 46' after junior Nick Skubis was assessed his second yellow of the first half in the 44'.
Washington added a goal on a set piece attempted by Zach Ramsey that found the back of the net untouched to give the Huskies a 2-0 advantage.
Jake Goetting scored with a blast that went high to beat Ohio State backup keeper Luke Laramore in the 69' to make it 3-0 Huskies.
The final score was 4-0 Washington after an own goal in the 89'.
Patrick McLaughlin got the start for the Buckeyes in goal. He is 10-4-3 in 17 career starts. Laramore replaced McLaughlin (injury) in the 52'.
